(A letter from our founder)

Vibrant Vegan Fest began long before it had a name.

For most of my life, I’ve dreamed of creating a space where vegans and conscious, compassionate people could come together, not just to learn about plant-based living, but to feel seen, supported, inspired, and deeply connected.

As someone who has been vegan since birth, I know what it’s like to grow up in a world that often doesn’t understand your values. I’ve experienced the loneliness, the self-doubt, the pressure to fit in, and the constant need to advocate for myself. And I’ve also felt the freedom, empowerment, and joy that come from discovering community, embracing authenticity, and living in alignment with compassion.

For years while attending numerous other festival, conferences, and retreats, I held a quiet vision:

A joyful holistic vegan gathering where people could reconnect with their purpose, their compassion for all beings, their health, and each other.

In 2025, that vision took its first form when I partnered with my friend Erin McIntosh to co-create Thrive Alive Vegan Fest.

Together, we brought 150+ people into nature for five days of community, music, workshops, play, and transformation. It was beautiful, healing, and a clear confirmation that this type of gathering was deeply needed.

After Thrive Alive, I felt called to take everything we learned and that blossomed there, and grow it into something even more aligned with my heart and long-term vision.

This year, I’m stepping forward on my own to bring that next evolution to life with the Vibrant Vegan Fest!

It carries the spirit of Thrive Alive Fest forward: the compassion, the playfulness, and the heart - while expanding into a clearer mission:

To help people feel healthy, empowered, connected, and inspired to live a vibrant vegan life for all beings.

This is not just a festival. It’s a movement and community I’ve wanted to create for much of my life, and I’m honored to welcome you into it!
